Dear NHLI Colleagues and Friends:

After an amazing ten years as the President of NHLI, I have decided to embark into the fascinating world of small business and social entrepreneurship and travel the road less traveled. But I want to take a moment to thank all of you who I have had the privilege of working with, the staff, the past and present Board members, the alumnae, strategic partners and funders and the thousands of women and men we have worked with over the years. Thank you for your support, your friendship and your dedication to the Latina Leadership movement. I have experienced the power of giving, the power of Hermandad and the power of having the courage to work for justice and equality. My tenure at NHLI has been a highlight in my career and personal life and nothing short of rewarding and satisfying—because of you. ¡GRACIAS!

I leave NHLI with a great sense of accomplishment and satisfaction; I am honored to say that the Institute is at its peak and will continue developing Latina Leaders across the country through its programs and initiatives. I am confident that the next President of the Institute will take this organization to new heights.
