Ana Ciereszkoè(92) Awarded the Florida Power and Light Endowed Teaching Chair in 2000. It is a three-year award recognizing excellent teaching. Attended the 56th meeting of the United Nations’ Commission on Human Rights in Geneva, Switzerland.

Elaine Coronado (90) Nominated by Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) to serve on U.S. Rep. Senate Task Force on Hispanic Affairs. Elected to two-year membership to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights/D.C. Task Force and serves on the Board of Directors of the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center.
