2009 Latina Empowerment Conferences

NHLI, the premier leadership Institute for Latinas in the country, invites you to attend our Latina Empowerment Conferences for a morning packed with professional and leadership development, networking, knowledge, and inspiration.

Latinas are leading a significant and powerful trend in America today!   Latinas are the fastest growing business segment, are entering the workforce in record numbers, and are making a statement as they run for political office and are appointed to board and commissions.  Latinas also represent 62% of the 800 billion purchasing power of U.S. Hispanics.  NHLI is proud to be at the forefront providing leadership development to thousands of Latinas across the country.

At each conference, Marisa Rivera-Albert, from Mpowerment Works and NHLI Past President, presents Preparing Latinas for Leadership Positions outlining the strengths and challenges that Latinas face today as well as what the NHLI program offers to women looking for a positive change in their lives.

An exciting interaction session presented by the Gallup Organization, The Seven Demands of Leadership, discusses how leaders must meet these demands to maximize their leadership impact and explore how they can be used to shape your leadership strategies.

The morning finishes off with Latinas Sharing Their Secrets of Success, a panel discussion with Latinas at top level management positions who discuss how they managed the challenges and opportunities of a career and family life.

The next round of Latina Empowerment Conferences will be announced in early 2009.
