NHLI Leads CELINA
(Campaign to Ensure Latina Inclusion in the Next Administration)
This past election cycle an unprecedented number of Latinas—representing nearly half the estimated 11 million Latino voters who cast ballots on election day—made history and demonstrated their electorate force and value to the nation.
Latinas took the first step by coming out in droves. The National Hispana Leadership Institute (NHLI) is taking the second step and leading the effort to translate the exceptional occurrence into opportunities for Latinas in the new administration.
NHLI will be playing a strong advocacy role to ensure that highly qualified Latinas are adequately represented among the candidates for consideration.
This Monday, November 24, at 3 pm (Eastern), join NHLI in a teleconference call for Latinas across the country to discuss the application process and expectations for those interested in being considered for a position in the new administration.
This call is open to ALL interested Latinas. If you are interested in participating, please call NHLI at 703-527-5007 or send an email to nhli@nhli.org to receive teleconference call phone number and verbal passcode.
